Students learn that Sculpture is about working a form in 3 dimensional space.  They learn to notice that a sculpture can be seen from all sides.  They learn that many different materials can be used to make a sculpture.  Most of all they learn that sculpture is an act of transformation through envisioning a material into another 3D form.
